The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts a Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) every year to appoint eligible candidates as Teachers at Primary and Elementary level for various Central & State Government Schools. Every year CBSE conducts two CTET papers paper I and paper II.
The questions in the exam are based on topics in the NCERT text book for class I to V and VI to VII respectively.
The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.
The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
